More Summer Adventures: July Edition

There are just so many pictures from the summer to sort through. Here are most of the highlights from July.

Sweet Sir Isaac is becoming quite the entertainer, continuing to make us laugh on a regular basis. Here are just a few highlights of his July silliness. From wearing Buster's very tiny doll clothes, to getting all dressed up to sit (and do nothing!) on the potty, to watching and crying for the draining bath water, and unzipping his jammies begging for a belly rub!

We had a playdate at Abi's house with a bunch of Mommy's old co-workers. It was quite a feat trying to get a picture of all the little ones together. Isaac really liked Abi's big boxer, Oscar.

In July we also celebrated Declan's 4th birthday. Isaac had a lot of fun at the party. I think his favorite part was sitting in the wagon and waiting for different kids to pull him around the yard. He somehow managed to be pulled around almost constantly! He also really liked Bailey. He seems to be more interested in bigger dogs these days.

By the end of July we were able to harvest about two dozen delicious peaches from our peach tree. Not a bad haul for the first year of fruit! Isaac really enjoyed picking and eating the fresh peaches.

We had some random fun around the house trying to stay cool. Isaac also got his new twin bed this month and has really enjoyed having all sorts of fun with the box the mattress came in.

So cozy!

We also did a lot of lounging and snacking in between sunny outdoor time.

Daddy and Isaac had a fun outing to the Science Center that ended with a bonus tour of a big Japanese ship that was docked at the harbor, complete with sitting in a real life helicopter!!

We had quite a few other visits to the Science Center as well this summer!

We had a few day trips with Debbie to Hammerman Beach as well as some other outings with Debbie and even a visit to her house, much to Isaac's excitement!

Enjoying a Nutella croissant at Canela! Mmm!

Taking home some goodies from Debbie's house.

Various playground visits...

Our full and exciting July had a very sad end as we lost our dear Mommom Louise on August 6. Our very last Sunday visit with her on the 24th was a particularly nice time. We were able to share with her the very last peach from our tree, which she split three ways between herself, Uncle Tony, and Isaac and I happened to capture some blurry, but sweet moments of her and Isaac doing what they do best.

We were lucky to have had a lot of help with childcare for Isaac during the various arrangements for Mommom. Debbie had a fun afternoon with Isaac, while Jodi, Jamal, Jarrett and baby June had a playdate at the house, and on the night of the viewing Kristen watched Declan and Isaac and we came home to the very precious sight of both boys asleep on the couch with her.
