Since this is such a big day we will have 2 blog entries celebrating Isaac's special birthday. First up is our regularly broadcasted monthly blog update.
At 12 months old, Isaac:
-weighs almost 20 lbs. and is about 28.5 inches tall (quite a bit bigger than the 6 lb. 5 oz, 19.75 in. newborn we brought home from the hospital! wow!)
-is still breastfed and eats just about anything
-jumps in his crib, dances, crawls at lightening speed, cruises, and climbs...in other words, loves to be on the move!
-claps, waves, gives kisses, and just started learning high five
-naps twice a day and does not sleep through the nights most of the time
-has a great laugh and is still super ticklish
-is super sweet and likes to cuddle (when he takes a break from moving and exploring)
-is funny and silly but also serious and observant, and quietly curious
-is technically a toddler, but will always be Mommy's baby!
We had our 12 month photo shoot in two shifts today as Lady was not cooperating this morning when it was time for the "dog segment".

Isaac kept covering up the 12 on his "12 months" tie, almost as if he didn't want to reveal his age to the camera!
