Oh Say Can You See?

Isaac & Daddy had another fun week while Mommy finished up her last week of BEES.  This week they spent a lot of time shopping around for a new lawn mower after our last one burst into flames last week.  They also went to karaoke at the senior center with Grandma Jean where Isaac was the highlight of everyone's day.

We also went out to Taco Tuesday again with Debbie, the whole Kaiser clan, and Liz & Derek while Daddy went to the O's game with CharliePop.  Again Isaac was the center of attention, making everyone laugh hysterically while he sat on Debbie's lap eating his dinner, making his rockstar face and doing his flirty head tilt in a repetitive sequence while everyone laughed.  He even stole the waitress's heart when she stopped to talk to him and he reached out to her to be held.  This kid definitely has not yet hit the "stranger danger" phase.

hmm...margarita!

Sure waitress, I will reach out and let you hold me!

Daddy also brought him to the fountains again for Mommy's last day of BEES.  He immediately want to Debbie and just melted in her arms, staring at the kids in the fountain. Later he relaxed in Liz's lap and enjoyed some watermelon.  We also had a surprise run in with one of Mommy's favorite student family's from teaching and they were really excited to get to meet Isaac as well.

He's just been so happy and silly. Smiling, laughing, and cuddling.  He also loves nature and any sort of plants.  He loves nature walks in the yard, walking around looking at and gently touching the leaves and flowers.  He also loves seeing trees and flowers in books, and during all of their visits to Home Depot this week, Isaac would get so excited to see the plant department and point excitedly towards all the foliage.

He loves pushing the buttons on his Little People Bus to play a song so he can dance and clap. As soon as the song ends he crawls back over and hits another button.

mmm bacon!

Checking out the tupperware and spice cabinets is a new favorite hobby.

We checked out animals with "super powers" at the library on Monday

We actually did not do anything particularly festive for 4th of July.  Daddy and Isaac came to church on Saturday to surprise CharliePop and Great Grandma Ernst who came to church after their annual visit to the cemetery.  And ironically, Isaac slept through the night for the first time in months that night, even with all of the neighborhood fireworks going off throughout the night. We also found out later that night that Isaac's newest cousin came into the world. Dana & Chris had their baby boy on July 4.  We can't wait to meet Liam Joseph Sibley when he comes to stay with us for a visit in September!

"caught" Isaac quietly reading this book in the corner

In closing, a short clip of Isaac laughing & snorting after bath time.
