Last week, Daddy & Isaac took a road trip to Shepherdstown to visit Aunt Karen and meet her new litter of dachshund puppies and subsequently fall in love with them. Isaac seemed to really enjoy holding the puppies and wanted to name one of them Little Lady.
Aunt Karen and Lucia were going to be staying with us the following Friday (last night) as Lucia was running a race in Baltimore. So, Aunt Karen brought all 3 female pups with her to see if we'd like to have one join our family. While they were quite cute, we decided now just isn't the right time for a puppy. Despite how ecstatic Isaac appears in these pictures, he was very understanding when it came time for Aunt Karen to leave with the puppies. No tears or tantrums were had by anyone in the household.
After Aunt Karen and the puppies left we headed to Fells Point for their Olde Tyme Christmas. We were a little too late to see Santa's tugboat arrival, but we did do some crafts in the Kid Zone and have breakfast with Santa at Points South Latin Kitchen, where Isaac seemed to be in awe of seeing Santa, but wasn't quite up for chatting with him just yet.
