The Ernst-Rest clan spent this past weekend apart.  Mommy and Daddy went down to St. Augustine for Dana & Chris's beautiful wedding, while Isaac spent the weekend with Sandy, Buddy, Brandon & Corey, and Allie & Lady enjoyed time with Aunt Margie. It really helped Mommy and Daddy relax knowing Isaac and the fur babies were in such good hands. Sandy did a great job sending lots of picture updates so that helped too!

The week leading up to our mini vacation was a busy one with lots to do, but we still found time for some photo ops! Here is Isaac showing off some of the new onesies Mommom embroidered for him:

On Monday Isaac joined Mommy at choir practice for a bit until Daddy got off of work. He enjoyed some time with "grand-godfather" Jim (and the enjoyment was mutual until Isaac chomped into his hand).

Mommy had a really long day on Tuesday. In addition to teaching her regular writing class, she also starting teaching a cooking class and then had an appointment after that so she got home much later than usual. She came home to a beautiful bouquet that Isaac and Daddy picked for her from their yard. Daddy said Isaac really enjoyed exploring all of the plants and helping him pick everything. It looked and smelled beautiful!

Isaac seems to really enjoy his souvenir from St. Augustine: a vibrating corn teether.

Mommy and Isaac also took a few selfies this week while Isaac had fun looking at himself in the mirror.
