Dogs and Dudes

Isaac had his first sleepover at Mommom's & CharliePop's over the weekend while Mommy and Daddy hosted a Friendsgiving party (AKA Restivus).  He had a lot of fun and slept very well, only waking once in the night.  Mommy & Daddy met up with him at church the next morning. He was super tired by the time we got home, and fell asleep in his carseat and stayed there for a pretty long nap. By the time he got up, Grandpa Larry had arrived for a visit and to watch the Ravens game.  Isaac showed off lots of his new tricks, crawling around and getting into mischief. Then he took another nap with Mommy on the couch, using the dogs as a pillow.

We went out on a family shopping trip on a rainy Monday evening. Isaac was such a gentleman and insisted on holding Mommy's umbrella for her.  He also had fun at Target checking out all of the cool Christmas decorations, with snowmen and snow globes being some of his favorites.

He has also started to discover the dogs' beds and has tried joining/tormenting Allie in her bed while Allie just sits patiently waiting for him to go away, or for me to intervene. (but don't feel too sorry for her. She does her fair share of trying to lick Isaac's face off...the annoying signs of affection are mutual).

Speaking of Allie, she has also been joining us for more story times:

Hanging out:

playing in his crib, talking to his toys

Checking out Daddy's zipper and teeth...

Making a plan of a action:

making a mess in his crib after nap time

watching Mommy brush her teeth
