Buy me some peanuts & cracker jacks!

We were gifted some tickets to the Oriole's game on Sunday, so we took Isaac to his first of many baseball games.  No surprise, he had a great time!

We took a bunch of pictures before we left of Isaac in all of his O's gear, courtesy of gifts and borrowed items.

We took the lightrail and he loved looking out the window during the ride there and back, taking in all the scenery.  He also enjoyed pointing at fellow train passengers and making his "ahhhh!" sound. Pretty embarrassing!

When we arrived at Camden Yards we got a quick picture with the Babe Ruth statue and then entered the park.  It was a dogleash giveaway game, but they gave away the very last leashes to the family that went in ahead of us! Ah well, orange and black aren't really Allie's and Lady's colors anyway.

Then we went for some more photo ops with some of the fun bobble head statues. Isaac loved these things!

Then it was up the escalator to get Isaac's "first game" certificate and find our seats! Isaac made fast friends with the couple sitting behind us, constantly looking back at the girl and her fun Orioles feather earrings.

Whoa! Cooool!

enjoying the view

Isaac loved sucking the juice out of this apple. This probably lasted a whole inning.

We stayed in our seats until the end of the 3rd inning and then walked around the rest of the stadium.  We "had" to get pictures with all* of the statues in the Orioles Legends park.  We took turns posing with Isaac, letting him high five and hold hands with Frank Robinson and step on Earl Weaver's feet.  It wasn't until we had taken pictures with 5 of the 6 statues that we got "in trouble" for having Isaac on the podium and touching the statues. Oops!

last but not least, Jim Palmer

*Before CharliePop points it out, we seem to have missed documenting our pose with Eddie Murray.

After our statuesque photo shoot, it was time to hop on the lightrail and head home for naps (Mommy was more exhausted than Isaac!). In a perfect culmination of the outing, and our favorite part of the day, Isaac giggled the entire 6-block-walk home from the lightrail stop to our house while Daddy carried him through the neighborhood.  At first Mommy thought for sure Daddy was tickling him, but he wasn't. Isaac was just so happy he couldn't stop laughing. Mommy was able to catch a bit of the giggles on video. Too cute!!

and some pictures from the giggly walk back...

By the time we got home it was naptime.  All of that baseball and laughing must have tired Isaac out because he slept for 2 hours when we got home, and so did Mommy! (told you she was tired!) When she went in to get Isaac up for dinner, he just couldn't be bothered to lift his head. Having so much fun is exhausting!
