Seems like Mommy is always asked the same questions about Isaac, so here is an update on the basics:
- At 5 months, Isaac sleeps about 4-7 hours at a time at night. His bedtime routine starts around 6:30pm with a bath. He gets up for the day around 8am and takes 2-3 naps during the day.
- He is still exclusively breastfed, taking one bottle a day in order to get in his probiotics and cloth diapering is going well.
- He loves grabbing his toes and sticking his fingers in his mouth. Every now and then he tries just sucking his thumb but he hasn't figured out what to do with the rest of his fingers so he usually ends up poking himself in the eye or scratching his nose.
- His bottom two teeth are becoming much easier to see and boy are they sharp!
- Isaac still doesn't roll over too much but he does pivot when he's on his tummy or back. He loves "standing" and showing off his super strong legs. He is ticklish! Especially his ribs and thighs.
- Isaac is just beginning to be entertained with peek-a-boo. He also loves it when Mommy sings to him and will sometimes start "singing" along with her.
