Happiest Baby in Linthicum

heading out for a neighborhood stroll

Isaac just seems to get happier and more content as the days go on.  He very rarely cries these days unless he is really tired or really hungry. And better still, his days are filled more and more with contagious laughs and smiles.

Isaac is starting to show some promise with sleeping through the night. This week Mommy and Daddy gave another attempt at having Isaac sleep in his crib and he's been doing pretty well.  Last night Isaac actually slept from 7pm until 8am, only waking up one time to eat around 3am.  Unfortunately Mommy didn't get a chance to actually enjoy this long stretch of sleep as she still stayed up well past midnight anticipating Isaac's typical wake up time.

This was earlier in the week when Isaac politely declined bed time
Another night of ever-so-kindly resisting sleep

Some of Isaac's latest tricks include really grabbing and holding onto things (his favorites being: his own fingers, his toes, and Mommy's hair), screeching and cooing high and loudly, withstanding longer rounds of tummy time, oh and drooling. Lots of drooling!

You can almost see his two bottom teeth here

A few firsts for Isaac this week:

first smoothie (just kidding)...

his first visit to Miss Shirley's for Baltimore Restaurant Week...

his first purple Ravens gameday (even though kickoff was after bed time)...

and cheering on his godmother Amanda for the first time as she competed in the USA NATIONAL Triathlon!

Then there are the skills Isaac has mastered and continues to excel in...

"looking cute":

Enjoying the dogs...
(FYI Isaac is always "there first" and the dogs gravitate to him. These are candid shots.)
"Baby Hand on Patient Dog"

 and relaxing with Daddy:

the whole gang
