sleeping peacefully when Mommy left on Monday

With Mommy working at BEES (Baltimore Environmental Explorer Summer Camp) this week, that left Daddy at home to take over as stay-at-home dad.  Up until this week, Mommy had only been away from Isaac for a few hours at a time so she was feeling a little nervous about leaving him for 10 hours!

Allie helped keep an eye on Isaac too. She always places herself just in arms-reach.

Daddy and Isaac seemed to have a really good week with a nice combination of relaxing at home and getting out of the house for some errands, walks, and visits. Daddy handled everything really well from all the diaper changes (and diaper laundry), to getting dressed and keeping Isaac well fed. Daddy also did a nice job sending Mommy updates and pictures throughout the day:

Mommy had a lot of fun on all of the BEES trips but really missed her time with Isaac. It was hard leaving when he was still asleep in the morning and then only having about an hour with him when she finally did get home. Just one more week of camp for Mommy and then they should be able to have some more family time the rest of the summer!
